What are cookies and similar technologies?

"Cookies" are small files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage, which let a site keep small pieces of information in your browser. They can be set by the site you are visiting ("first‑party") or by another provider whose content is embedded ("third‑party").

How we categorise them

  • Strictly necessary: needed for the site to work or to remember your privacy choice. Always on.
  • Preferences: remember choices such as language. Reserved for future features.
  • Analytics: measure anonymous, aggregated usage. None active today.
  • Marketing: advertising or remarketing. Not used by this site.
  • Embedded / third‑party content: files loaded from another provider (for example, fonts).

What this site actually uses

We currently set no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. The only item we store is a strictly necessary first‑party entry that remembers your cookie choice:

Name Provider Purpose Category Duration Consent?
qaisi_consent Qaisi (first‑party) Stores your cookie/consent preferences so we do not ask again. Strictly necessary localStorage, until cleared; re‑confirmed after ~6 months Not required

Third‑party requests that do not set cookies

To display the site we load some files from third‑party networks. These do not set cookies, but the providers receive your IP address when the files load (this is unavoidable for any externally hosted resource):

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com), serves the Inter and Space Grotesk fonts.
  • Google reCAPTCHA (google.com/recaptcha), used on the contact form for spam protection.
  • cdnjs / Cloudflare (cdnjs.cloudflare.com), serves the Three.js and GSAP animation libraries.

Managing your choices

Because we use no optional cookies yet, rejecting optional categories does not remove any functionality. You can review or change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link (also in the footer of every page). You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings; if you do, we will ask for your choice again on your next visit.

If we add analytics or other optional technologies in future, they will be listed here and will load only after you allow the relevant category in the cookie banner.
